Responsibilities:
Will provide support to the rendering and rendering maintenance team
Shadow equipment operators on job responsibilities and how they impact the whole process
Help identify ways to maximize rendering equipment yields
Help with general maintenance and upkeep of centrifuge and rendering equipment
Help with loading of trucks and railcars with rendering product
Ensure proper safety training and authorization has been completed
Communication with maintenance team to ensure routine maintenance is performed
Help with efforts to maximize rendering capture
Helping to oversee/manage the pet food department
Assisting team with quality testing product to make sure it is meeting customer specifications
Complete and present a project related to issues within the rendering department

Qualifications:
Enrolled in four year university or pursuing a Bachelor's Degree
Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more
The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation:
$21/hour with $2,500 relocation stipend if applicable.
