What does our Internship Program offer? Key's Enterprise Internship is a 10.5-week program that provides meaningful work that matters, offers feedback and coaching, and creates engaging events and conversations that will spark excitement and interest in bringing one's full-time career to Key post college. Interns are involved in a host of line of business specific projects that directly impact and benefit Key's business and strategic pillars. The program includes networking with Key teammates across all levels of the organization, a series of Learning Labs where internal and external speakers provide insight on Key's competitive landscape, financial wellness, and professional development best practices, and an assigned mentor who shares knowledge, experience, and advice. Risk Review Group (RRG) As the internal audit function within KeyBank, the Risk Review Group (RRG) provides an independent assessment on Key's processes and risks. As a trusted advisor, the RRG tests the adequacy and effectiveness of KeyBank's risk management practices, makes recommendations for improvement, and monitors remediation efforts. The RRG is accountable to the KeyCorp Audit Committee and reporting is provided to key stakeholders, including the Board of Directors and associated committees, executive and line of business management, and KeyBank's regulators. About the Risk Review Group (RRG) Internship Program The Internship spans approximately 10 weeks in the summer. As an RRG Intern, you will gain experience working on various risk reviews, work closely with seasoned professionals to develop your skills as an auditor and receive direct coaching and feedback. Interns will have exposure to various lines of business across Key and interact with their leaders. Placement for Risk Review Interns may be in one or more of the following areas: Asset Management, Capital Markets, Compliance, Credit, Data Analytics, Enterprise Projects, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Shared Services, Models, Operations, Professional Practices, Financial Risk Review (SOX), Technology, or Treasury. The Risk Review Group operates in a remote work environment with teammates located in over 20 states. Your internship will be performed in a virtual environment; however, if you are located close to Buffalo, NY or Cleveland, OH, you may have the option to occasionally work in an office setting. Based on performance, Interns may be offered the opportunity for placement in a full-time position as a Rotational Analyst with the RRG upon graduation. Job Responsibilities Staffed on one or two risk reviews allowing you to gain insight into all phases of an audit (planning, fieldwork, and reporting) and learn about various parts of the organization. RRG follows an annual Audit Plan and work assigned each week will be based on the current reviews in process on your assigned team. Typically work 8-hour days, Interns are not expected to work more than 40 hours/week. Attend audit specific training and enterprise-wide Learning Labs. Network with other RRG Interns & members of RRG's Senior Leadership Team (senior management). Internship culminates with a Spotlight presentation to Senior Leadership Team and Managers in RRG highlighting your internship experience. Qualifications Graduating with a four-year degree or graduate level degree by May 2026 with focused coursework in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Systems or other business-related degree. Outstanding academic achievement (minimum 3.25 GPA) Demonstrated leadership and teamwork from past work
