Job Summary
This internship will allow interns to collect data from local research farms and monitor trials in a state-of-the-art greenhouse. Throughout this paid internship, interns will have the opportunity to work closely with our technical team, and gain experience in research and development by evaluating various trials. The purpose of this internship is to assist Agnition in obtaining accurate data from our greenhouse trials and research farms located in Balaton and Marshall, while helping develop new strategies and ideas to complete projects. Interns can gain an abundance of knowledge in agronomics, data collection and management, as well as professionalism.
This internship also includes the opportunity to job shadow other areas of the Ralco business that are of interest to the intern. This includes, but is not limited to, Ralco nutritionists, sales team, research & development, finance/accounting, purchasing, marketing, and administrative services.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Evaluate/monitor research farm and greenhouse trials
  • Collect and record field and greenhouse data
  • Work with others to complete tasks
  • Complete any additional responsibilities as needed
Qualification and Education Requirements:
  • Freshman, sophomore, junior or senior year in college
  • Majoring in Ag Business, Agronomy, or other agriculture related field
  • Reside in, or are willing to move to, southwest MN for the summer
  • Collaborates well with others
  • Physical labor (lifting, digging, field work, etc.)
