Apprentice Plumber

We are seeking multiple Entry Level Plumbers to join our team!

Responsibilities:

• Assist in installing and maintaining plumbing systems.
• Coordinate with leads on installation.
• Ensure systems meet all standards of building codes and safety.
• Cut openings in structures in preparation for pipes.
• Install supports and hangers for pipes, fixtures and equipment.
• Assemble and install valves and fittings.
• Assemble pipe sections, tubing and fittings, using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, or soldering, brazing and welding equipment.
• Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to required angle
• Test pipe systems and fix leaks.
• Ensure all installations, repairs and maintenance are properly sized, aligned, supported and graded.

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in plumbing, maintenance, or other related field (2 years required)
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics (Preferred but not required)
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Reliable transportation since job locations are valley wide (public transport i.e. bus line does not count)
• Be comfortable using technology such as tablets if required
