The basic function is to manage the sales impact and service efforts of a full-service branch. Manages branch operations to ensure operational integrity is maintained. Trains and coaches staff to provide excellent member service through ongoing coaching, training and feedback as needed. Maintains appropriate relationships with members, staff, and SEG companies and represents the credit union in a professional manner.


Principle Accountabilities:

•Follows the guidelines of the program and completes assignments as instructed.

•Achieves objectives of the program within schedule provided.

•Participates in branch operations and functions including Teller, Member Service Representative, Lending and Staff

Supervision.

•Functions as a teller, performing all related duties such as daily balancing and reports.

•Contributes to branches achieving goals and objectives.

•Adheres to member service standards, policies and procedures for all products and services.

•Maintains strict adherence to security policies and procedures in order to ensure the safety and security of members, staff,

and assets.

•Develops, implements and improves processes related to sales and service.

•Leads high performance team in achieving established sales and service goals.

•Focuses on strategies to enhance overall performance effectiveness.

•Identify fraudulent activity to prevent potential loss.

•Open, close and assist members with Safe Deposit Box operations.

•Read and interpret credit bureau reports and explain information to members as needed.

•Originate, process and close loans.

•Register with NMLS and maintain registry annually in compliance with the S.A.F.E. Act.

•Promote and protect the interests of the credit union at all times.

•Perform duties in compliance with regulatory requirements including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act.

•Perform other duties as assigned.


Position Type/Expected Hours Of Work:

This is a full-time position of 41 hours weekly. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and occasional Saturdays 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. May be required to work extended hours and weekend as job duties demand.


Travel:

Travel is required for this position. The employee must be able to independently operate a motor vehicle and travel for work activities.

Requirements:
  • 3+ years’ experience in a financial institution.
  • 3+ years’ experience selling both in person and over the phone.
  • 1+ year of cash handling experience.
