Job Description
We have an immediate opening for a Construction equipment material runner to join our project team. You must be hard-working, reliable, and willing to perform various tasks that are required on the work site. Responsibilities include transporting materials and equipment, may include assembly and installation of components, Jobsite clean-up. We prefer candidates who have experience in construction, driving construction equipment, or skilled labor, but are willing to train the right person. Having a Driver license and clean driving record is a must. Depending on the job, you may also be required to work early or late hours, and sometimes overtime shifts.
Safely load, secure, unload, and transport equipment, materials to and from job sites.
Running errands for the Construction Team as needed.
Drives to various vendor locations to pick up parts, tools, equipment, needed for construction projects.
Delivers items to specified project locations timely.
Drive truck to transport materials to and from specified destinations.
May maintain vehicle log, according to state and federal regulations.
Inspect Vehicles / Equipment and supplies, such as tires, lights, brakes, hydraulics, gas, oil, and water to ensure vehicles are operating optimally when needed.
May position blocks and tie rope around items to secure cargo during transit.
Maintain clear communication with crew leads and warehouse personnel to ensure accurate deliveries and material needs are met.
Assist with organizing materials at the warehouse and job sites for optimal workflow.
Perform inventory tasks, verifying material quantities and conditions.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including both the warehouse and job sites.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures on the job site and on the road.
Assist with other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Work with team-members building and installing construction projects such as but not limited to framing, layout, demolition, drywall, finish carpentry, concrete, site work, drainage work, grading and other tasks. On an as needed basis.
Safely operate various tools and equipment as needed. Including: hand tools, power tools, saws, measurement equipment, etc.
Maintain a clean working environment and maintain good working order of tools and equipment.
Assist other crews/divisions as needed depending on schedule and needs.

Requirements
Valid Drivers License & Clean Driving Record. Class B may be required.
Ability to drive a large truck (F350) while towing equipment on a trailer.
Ability to operate skid steer and mini excavator.
Familiarity with common manual tools, power tools, equipment, heavy equipment and construction materials.

Consistent attendance and capability to get to work. A valid driver’s license is required as well as a clean driving record.
We own multiple properties within the St. Louis Metropolitan area and Illinois, work will shift within those locations.
Experience preferred.
Ability to physically perform the required tasks to complete the job. This includes lifting up to 80 lbs and other physically demanding tasks.
Working in varying weather conditions, indoors and outdoors.
This is not a maintenance position.
Ability to work under pressure and have flexibility in scheduled projects.
