Apprentice Plumber Job Summary

We are looking for an aspiring plumber to join our team as an Apprentice Plumber. You will learn the skills necessary to become a journeyman by working with a master plumber. As you gain experience, you may begin to complete some duties independently or with limited supervision. These duties include identifying drain issues, clearing clogged pipes, installing plumbing fixtures, and completing cost estimates. To apply for this position, you need a valid driver's license, the ability to lift over 50 lbs., and knowledge of and proficiency with basic tools.

Apprentice Plumber Duties and Responsibilities

• Identify issues with drains or sewers
• Perform cleaning and unclogging services
• Install or assemble plumbing fixtures
• Provide cost estimates
• Perform residential and small commercial plumbing SERVICE WORK including installations, repairs, and maintenance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues with efficiency and accuracy.
• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring client satisfaction on every job.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and company standards.

Apprentice Plumber Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift over 50 lbs.
• Quick learner
• Familiar with common hand tools
• 3rd-year plumbing apprentice or a journeyman plumber certification.
• Proven experience in residential and small commercial plumbing services.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and equipment. -
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. -
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment. -
• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
