The ideal candidate should want to be a learner first, learn the trade but then be ready to become a Lead Installer and run their own crew in the future.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with Generator Maintenance:
- Help with routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and inspections.
- Clean and maintain generator components to ensure optimal performance.
- Keep maintenance records and document service performed.
Assist in Troubleshooting:
- Assist the Residential Generator Technician in diagnosing and troubleshooting generator issues.
- Learn to use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify problems.
Installation Support:
- Assist in the installation of residential backup generators according to manufacturer specifications and local building codes.
- Assist with electrical and mechanical connections as directed.
Inventory Management:
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and tools, ensuring they are organized and readily available.
- Assist in ordering replacement parts when needed.
Safety Compliance:
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols at all times.
- Participate in safety training programs as required.
Customer Interaction:
- Interact with homeowners in a courteous and professional manner.
- Provide basic information and answer questions about generator maintenance and operation.
Assist in Documentation:
- Assist in the preparation of service reports, invoices, and documentation for each job.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of paperwork.
Adherence to Regulations:

Qualifications:
