Internship Program

The CareSource Intern is responsible for providing support on special projects, initiatives, and specific activities which will vary by assignment. We offer a 12-week, paid summer internship program for college students who want to separate themselves from the pack. Essential Functions:

Involvement/engagement/understanding of cybersecurity principles and functions
Threat intelligence research and writing
Detection engineering and implementation within endpoint detection software and SIEM software
Project coordination and analysis with other interns in cohort
Initial security incident triage and investigation
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Other cybersecurity department projects as assigned

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent is required
Current college / university undergraduate or graduate student in an accredited degree program is required

Competencies, Knowledge and Skills:

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite to include Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Effective listening and critical thinking skills
Dependable, flexible and ability to maintain confidential information
Effective problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Compensation Range:
$34,500.00 - $55,100.00
CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate's education, training, and experience as well as the position's scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level.
