The Taper Drywall Apprenticeship Program is designed to equip individuals with the technical knowledge, hands-on skills, and safety practices necessary to become proficient in the application of drywall finishing, also known as "taping." Tapers play a critical role in preparing drywall surfaces for painting and other finishes by applying joint compound (mud) and ensuring that seams, fasteners, and corners are smooth and properly finished.
